Created by Rochad Holiday and B. Slade in 2013, Urban Twist Music has gotten off to a very good start. In the first month of existence, UTM placed music in The Wayans Next Generation and followed that up with the music for the 44th Annual NAACP Image Awards.
Rochad Holiday is a 26 year veteran of the music business. He started his career as an intern at MCA Records in 1988 and then produced his first song on En Vogue in 1992. He along with his production partners formed the R&B trio Somethin' For The People and released three albums on Warner Bros. from 1995 to 2000. The group also produced Brandy, Will Smith, Eric Benet and Neyo to name a few. In 2003, Rochad was introduced to production library music, and he provided all kinds of material for different libraries. His music was on Americas Next Top Model, Pimp My Ride, Keeping Up With The Kardashians and a slew of other television shows. In 2013 he partnered with B. Slade and formed Urban Twist Music.
B. Slade is an American singer songwriter who has a multitude of achievements. Formerly known as Tonex, B. Together they bring more than 40 years of experience and an extensive library of material. Their catalogue of music covers decades of sounds and styles, along with having a team of writers and producers contributing to UTM as well. If custom music or songs is needed, their ability to create and turnaround material is very fast.
